The school, founded in 1958, offers various types of quality German courses for academic, personal or professional purposes all year round. Collegium Palatinum - IH Heidelberg is a member of International House World Organisation (IHWO) and is committed to high standards of quality in language education and professional teacher development. Apart from standard language courses, the school offers study or job-specific programmes. The cultural diversity of the students creates an atmosphere in which language learning is fun. The school is located in the beautiful heritage protected “Villa Krehl”, 20 minute walking distance to the Old Town. The Collegium Palatinum language programmes include culture and leisure activities. The school offers accommodation in host families and in a student residence.

The school is in a nice place and it's really beautiful. It's not too far from the center of the city. The teachers are kind and teach good.

I was surprise we had to pay the books the school want us to use, and it was mentionned only after I paid the whole trip. It would be better if it was included in the price, or if the school would make up the courses by itself. Also, I think papers and pens should be provided. The feedback shouldn't be during a hour class because we wasted almost one hour doing it. The teacher was very nice, but maybe she hadn't enough experiences to lead the class. It would be good if we had a timetable each.

Please accept our apologies if this was not clear. We have now added to the FAQs that students should bring their own pens and paper. Some teachers ask students to write a testimonial in the last lesson, which usually only takes a few minutes, but it can also be done at home. We choose our teachers very carefully and will take your feedback into consideration.

Muy buena academia para practicar el alemán. Cuando yo estuve, no habia casi españoles, y habia muchos suizos que hablaban en francés, pero se podia practicar muy bien el alemán. La escuela muy bonita, el entorno tambié. Y la ciudad, me enamoró!

Ih-Heidelberg Collegium Palatinum è il meglio!! Tutti i professori sono molto preparati e ho potuto imparare tantissimo. Heidelberg è stupenda e consiglio a tutti di visitarla!! Ho conosciuto delle fantastiche persone e mi sono divertita moltissimo. Consiglio a tutte le persone che vogliono seguire un corso di lingua in Germania di andare ad Heidelberg al Collegium Palatinum.

Everything was great accept when people from the school almost kicked me out from my room they day before my departure. But they realized they had made a mistake and they gave me my key back.
