The Standard course is the most popular one at Solemar Academy and is suitable for everyone - no matter if beginner or advanced student. In this intensive course you learn Italian effectively in a short period of time. It consists in 20 hours per week and takes place in the morning from Monday to Friday.
If there are less than 4 students in the course, the number of lessons is reduced.

•The first day, every student will be asked to have a conversation with the teachers to dived the classes. The placement test is sent one week before arrival via email. In the morning we have lesson and in the afternoon Solemar Academy organises several leisure activities for its students: First of all, Simona will bring you on a funny welcome tour through the ancient, tiny streets of Cefalù. Every week we organise open
•air cooking courses, aperitivi, film projection, unconventional trips to Palermo and much more. For those who like water sports such as diving and snorkelling, we provide courses and boat excursions around Cefalù and also to the famous Eolie islands, one of the most incredible spots in the entire Mediterranean Sea. In our excursion “Sicilia Sconosciuta” (Secret Sicily) will take you through the breathtaking landscape and medieval towns of the Madonie Natural Park. This area is well known for the excellence of its local products. For most part of the year, it is possible to take part in traditional celebrations and music festivals. In addition, we organise many trips to the volcano Etna, Taormina, and many other destinations all
•over the island!
